A Million Freds was begun by actor Janine Ulfane in 1994 to find a thread linking the constant moving of a nomadic childhood, and the longing to make work and engage creatively. Through the community of theatre, A Million Freds makes work exploring the nature of identity and belonging.
Janine Ulfane is a producer, maker and performer. She is also a part of an all women improvisational group run by Improbable Theatre Co.
A Million Freds has made work in England, South Africa, Ireland and Sweden.
